The March guest artist from the Mendocino County Art Association will be Jun Cheng, whose journey started in China. “Every artist takes a different path to find themselves and the art they create,” Jun says. “For many years I have expanded and fine-tuned my craft. Watercolor allows me to capture the essence and feelings of the world we experience every day. My goal is to share with you the delight that comes from surrounding yourself with beauty and happiness. I wish to those who see my art much joy as they share this journey with me”. I welcome all opportunities to share my work. My watercolors have been displayed across Mendocino County at art centers, banks, bakeries, and more. I have also been fortunate to show my work in museums in Beijing, China and Treviso, Italy and earn special recognitions. The positive feedback about my work motivates me to do more. I wish to those who see my art much joy as they share this journey with me”.
