My new paintings depict the eclipsing of landscapes
(personal, emotional and physical) by environmental, political and socio-economic events.
Ghostly monkey figures create
an eerie and sometimes violent shadowing over commonly
beloved urban and rural scenes.
How can we see our favorite spaces the same with the acceleration of insane and destructive policies?
