One of the most rewarding and enjoyable parts of my life has been creating something or dreaming about creating something. There has been many creative phases but for the last few years I have been concentrating on exploring applying acrylics on canvas using an airbrush.

ACU "Winter's Bounty-Treasures of the Sea and Shore"
These original paintings reflect the 20 plus years I lived on the “Lost Coast”
area of northern California before moving to Redwood Valley
a couple of years ago. My husband and I spent most of our time working
on the land and hiking and I have tried to record my impressions
on canvas and express my obsession with surface texture
and color mostly thru many thin layers of highly pigmented acrylics.
Along with an airbrush, I also use other techniques including traditional brushing, actual printing using organic materials, and just about any other application method that inspires me at the time.
All paintings are hand stretched in the gallery wrap style on 1.5 inch kiln dried stretcher frames made by my husband in his wood shop.
