Art Center Ukiah August 2024 “Dog Days of summer” Juried Art Show.

 

The “dog days of summer” is a phrase made popular during the time of the Roman Empire, thousands of years ago. It refers to the rising and falling of Sirius, known as the “Dog Star,” during the hot and stifling summer months of July and August. Local artists are providing some creative responses to the intense heat of our inland climate.  Woodcut prints, etchings, fabric art, photographs, paintings and sculpture
