August’s guest artist, was born and raised in Bern, Switzerland and has been an Ukiah resident since 2020. He is a ceramicist and painter whose medium of choice is oil on canvas. Urs prefers working on large canvases, building the painting’s surface with multiple layers of oil paint. He then subtracts, rebuildis, and subtracts again until the desired finish is accomplished.
